About this boat

The Bali 4.1 catamaran represents the entry point (within the Superior category, at least!) of our catamaran lineup. It embodies the vision of a new generation of sailing catamarans designed for both charter and living—not solely for speedier sailing. Think of it as a floating villa, tailored for guests who prioritize spaciousness and comfort over rapid performance.  Like all Bali models, the 4.1 is a game-changer in holiday concepts, making sailing accessible and enjoyable even for those without advanced skills. Whether you're a novice or an experienced sailor, you'll appreciate the vast living areas and exceptional stability of our Bali 4.1 catamaran, inviting you into the enchanting realm of sailing charters without breaking the bank (featuring comfortable cabins with electric fans and standard amenities). The Aeolian Islands will serve as the perfect backdrop for your unforgettable sailing adventure! LIVING AREA Sailing on this catamaran, you will enjoy its large cockpit/lounge area: a single space for lunches and relaxation, which can be opened or closed as you wish by activating just a button that will allow you to close or lift the large tailgate. At the stern it offers a large sofa which, integrating with the central lounge, allows it to accommodate up to 10 people in total comfort. The forward lounge features a huge kitchen with integrated fridge and freezer from home, as well as numerous compartments for supplies and galley. SLEEPING AREA Each cabin features a standard double bed and a private bathroom equipped with an electric toilet and shower. Additionally, there is a wardrobe and drawers available for clothing storage. To help stay cool during warm weather, all cabins include electric fans. Located at the very front, the single cabins can host 2 extra guests—one in each hull—bringing the total comfortable capacity on board to 10 people. OUTDOOR SPACES The elevated wheelhouse provides a fantastic, sociable flybridge equipped with two sun loungers, whereas the front deck boasts four to five sun loungers along with a lounge area furnished with two tables, perfect for savoring any bay or anchorage. Consequently, our Bali 4.1 catamaran presents three unique spaces designed to warmly accommodate its guests!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit. You can lower the deposit by adding the operator’s damage waiver.
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. This boat's ~80 HP engines burn roughly 6.4 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 134 L ≈ €261 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans. Many skippers run one engine on passage to roughly halve fuel use — ask your operator if that’s fine for your boat.
Do I need a sailing licence in Italy?
The skipper needs a valid sailing licence and VHF certificate, ideally issued by their country of residence (an ICC is widely accepted).
