Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: All of the operator's sailing boats are insured under Greek law against third-party liability and damage to the hull, machinery and equipment.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~60 HP engines burn roughly 4.8 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 101 L ≈ €197 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

The Greek Coast Guard requires one licensed sailor in your crew, plus a second person who can demonstrate basic sailing skills. We also check your skipper's sailing licence and sailing resume, and your booking is only accepted once that check is done.

Charters are booked in whole-week multiples, so you'll need to plan for at least one full week. Your trip starts and ends from our base at Alimos Marina in Athens.
