Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The price includes compulsory third-party insurance and comprehensive (Kasko) insurance for the declared boat value, subject to the policy terms. The Kasko cover pays damage above the deposit amount, but not damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

Pets such as dogs, cats and birds are not allowed on board. In some cases an exception may be possible, but only if you agree it with us in advance.

Your charter stays within Croatian waters. If you'd like to go beyond them, you need our prior written consent.

The boat is for holiday use only. Commercial use, fishing for business, sailing-school or skipper training, subletting, races and regattas (without our approval) and towing other yachts are not allowed. Only people on your crew list may be aboard, and only up to the number the yacht is approved for.

Your skipper only sails in safe conditions and heads for a safe harbour in a storm. The route may be changed to suit the weather, and you agree to follow the skipper's decisions on this.

Contact us straight away, and we aim to fix the problem within 24 hours of your message. Agree any repair or purchase with us first and keep the receipt, because genuine wear-related repairs are reimbursed at check-out, while unauthorised repairs are not.

May–October, with the most reliable maestral winds and warm seas in June–September; July–August are the hottest and busiest.
