Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit. Operator terms: Yacht has mandatory liability insurance covering third-party damages and hull insurance (Kasko) covering damage based on registered boat value against insured risks.

At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

Sailing is within Croatian waters only. Leaving Croatian waters is permitted only with our prior written consent.

As a rule pets such as dogs, cats and birds are not allowed on board, though exceptions may be possible if you arrange it with us in advance.

The boat is for your private holiday use only. It may not be used commercially, for professional fishing, as a sailing school or for skipper training, sublet to others, or entered in regattas or races without our prior consent.

Your boat comes with a professional, fully licensed skipper who acts as captain and is responsible for safe navigation. Please respect the skipper's decisions on the route and any changes for weather, and note that you're asked to cover the skipper's meals for the duration of the charter.

The skipper sails only in safe conditions and will avoid obviously dangerous areas, heading for a safe harbour if a storm threatens. Navigation is always adapted to the weather and the crew's ability.
