Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The rental fee includes third-party liability insurance and hull insurance up to the amount of the deposit. Damage caused by engine overheating is not covered by insurance and is paid in full by the charterer.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~28 HP engine burns roughly 2.2 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 46 L ≈ €81 at €1.75/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: The charterer declares they hold a valid sailing license (boat leader license and radiotelephony license) and adequate sailing and navigational skills.

Pets are not allowed on the yacht by default. If you'd like to bring one, you need to agree it with us in advance.

Yes. You can't lend the yacht to anyone else or use it to make a profit, and only people on your crew list may stay aboard. Regattas need our prior agreement, and towing other vessels is only allowed in a real emergency.

For safety, you shouldn't leave port or anchorage if the wind is or is forecast to be above Beaufort 7 (about 30 knots), or if the harbour authorities have banned sailing. Please check the forecast, reduce sail early, and sail within your experience.

If your skills seem doubtful, we may test your practical knowledge at handover. If you don't have the required skills, we'll provide a skipper at an extra cost. If you turn out to be unable to handle the yacht, we may cancel the charter and keep the charter fee.

Tell us immediately and follow our instructions. In case of damage, theft or loss of maneuverability, you'll also need to write a damage report and have it confirmed by the proper authorities, such as the harbour master or police.
