Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit. Operator terms: Owner insures yacht and equipment against fire, marine and collision risks, 3rd party damage and any loss or damage with excess to be specified. Charterer relieved of liability for losses covered by insurance unless caused by gross negligence or willful default.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. This boat's ~30 HP engine burn roughly 2.4 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 50 L ≈ €98 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.

Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

The yacht is for the private pleasure of you and your party only. You may not use her for racing, for towing other craft (except in an emergency), or for any other purpose. Fishing or underwater-fishing offences and taking objects of archaeological value are prohibited under Greek law.

Your party must include at least one qualified skipper and one experienced crew member. We may also ask you and your crew to demonstrate your competence by handling the yacht at sea with us aboard, and if you don't satisfy us we can place a seaman on board for as long as is needed for safety.

No. You must declare that no one on board is a professional crew member being paid for their services, and you can't add such a person during the charter without our prior written agreement. Any penalties under Greek law from doing so fall to you.

Don't leave port if the wind is forecast above force 6 on the Beaufort scale, if the harbour authorities have banned sailing, if any vital part such as the engine, sails, bilge pump or navigation lights isn't in good condition, or if the weather is doubtful.

You cover repairs that aren't normal wear, with our consent obtained first; keep the receipts and we'll refund fair-wear repairs at the end of the charter. After any damage or accident, ask the port authority to make a written record and notify us at the same time.
