Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The owner insures the yacht and equipment against fire, marine and collision risks and third-party damage, and against loss or damage above an excess (shown as euro 0,00).

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~55 HP engine burns roughly 4.4 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 92 L ≈ €179 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

You can sail within Greek seas only. We also ask that you reach your farthest port within the first third of your charter and stay within 40 nautical miles of the return base two days before the end.

Your party must include at least one qualified skipper and one experienced crew member. We may ask you to show your handling and navigation skills at sea before departure, and if needed we can place a seaman aboard at your expense.

Please don't leave a port or anchorage if the wind is or is forecast above Beaufort 6, or if the harbor authorities ban sailing. The same applies if anything vital on board isn't working or you're unsure about conditions.

The boat is for private pleasure only, so no racing, towing (except in an emergency) or subletting. Only people on your crew list may be aboard, and night sailing needs working navigation lights and a proper watch. Please also respect customs and fishing laws and leave archaeological finds alone.

Contact us before arranging any repair, as we need to approve it. For an accident or damage, ask the nearest Port Authority to record it and let us know right away. If the boat needs a tow, agree the price with the towing captain first.
