Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The vessel has compulsory third-party insurance and comprehensive insurance up to the value of the craft. Damage to sails is not covered.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~55 HP engine burns roughly 4.4 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 92 L ≈ €172 at €1.87/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

Night sailing is not allowed when weather conditions are uncertain. Please plan your route carefully so you always reach port safely.

Plan your trip so you can reach the home port on time whatever the weather. We advise returning the evening before your return day. If bad weather delays you, tell us right away, as you cover the costs the delay causes us.

Contact us before doing any repair, as no repairs may be made without our consent or instructions. For a major accident, or one involving another vessel, report it to us and the harbour authorities and document what happened with photos.

May–October, with the most reliable maestral winds and warm seas in June–September; July–August are the hottest and busiest.
