About this boat

Whiskey Foxtrot is an award-winning Bavaria Cruiser 46, combining exceptional comfort, spacious accommodation, and outstanding sailing performance. Named European Yacht of the Year in 2015, she represents the perfect balance of innovative design, easy handling, and luxurious living space, making her an ideal yacht for families and groups of friends exploring the beautiful Ionian Islands. Designed with flexibility in mind, Whiskey Foxtrot offers a highly adaptable accommodation layout. The spacious forward cabin features Bavaria’s clever Flexi-Bulkhead system, allowing the generous owner's suite to be transformed into two separate comfortable cabins when required. This versatile arrangement provides the option of a spacious three-cabin layout accommodating up to six guests, or a four-cabin configuration sleeping up to eight guests, with an additional saloon berth available for extra flexibility. The forward cabins share a well-appointed bathroom with a separate shower, while both aft double cabins benefit from their own private ensuite bathrooms, providing excellent comfort and privacy for all guests. Below deck, Whiskey Foxtrot offers a bright, modern, and welcoming interior. The spacious saloon provides the perfect area for relaxing, dining, and socialising, while the fully equipped galley ensures everything needed for comfortable cruising is always close at hand. Above deck, she delivers excellent sailing performance with effortless handling. Twin helm wheels and dual rudders provide superb control, stability, and confidence under sail, while the bow thruster makes manoeuvring in marinas and tight anchorages simple and stress-free. The generous cockpit is designed as the social heart of the yacht, featuring comfortable L-shaped seating and a large central table, creating the perfect setting for alfresco dining, sunset drinks, and enjoying unforgettable moments with family and friends. The large fold-down bathing platform offers easy access to the crystal-clear waters of the Ionian, making swimming, water activities, and boarding the tender convenient and enjoyable. Combining Bavaria’s renowned build quality, award-winning design, versatile accommodation, and effortless cruising ability, Whiskey Foxtrot is the perfect choice for an unforgettable sailing holiday, offering the ideal combination of comfort, style, and performance throughout your Ionian adventure. The boat is based in Vliho Bay, offering direct access to the Southern Ionian Islands. The base includes a pontoon, restaurant, hot showers, Wi-Fi, and a friendly team ready to assist with everything from transfers to route planning. The yacht charter price includes- • First and last night pontoon fees on our Vliho Yacht Club pontoon. • Dinghy and outboard (including outboard fuel). • Full fuel and water tanks. • Bed linen and towels (beach towels not included). • Starter pack which includes tea, coffee, sugar, salt & pepper, water, cleaning products, bin bags, tea towels and toilet roll. • Masks and snorkles. • Final cleaning of the yacht. • Route planning. • Maps & pilot book (including Rod Heikle) • 24/7 support. The only extras you pay for are- • Yacht diesel used during the charter. We arrange for the fuel to be delivered directly to the boat at our pontoon on your return. The diesel tank must be refilled and payment is made directly to the diesel truck driver. Check in is 16.00 pm, we always try to have the boat ready earlier if you are arriving before 16.00 pm but we cannot guarantee this. Check out is 10.00 am, we ask that you arrive back at our pontoon before 5.00 pm the day before or between 8.30 am and 9.00 am on the day. The skipper of the boat must hold a current qualification/certification from their country that allows them to charter a boat of the same type and size. The Port Police require the skipper to sign a declaration confirming the above. An ICC is required for skippers from the UK. Please note: If you are booking a bareboat charter (without one of our skippers) we require a 3500 Euros refundable security deposit. As part of check-in, we ask that you complete and sign a credit card security form. This would only be retained in the unlikely event of major damage to the boat. We do however understand that things can happen at sea, and you may lose a fender or a towel overboard etc, but these are just charged at cost price on your return. We also offer additional services to ensure you have the best holiday! • WIFI Hub • Stand up paddle board • Provisioning • Additional bed linen and towels

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit.
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. This boat's ~55 HP engine burn roughly 4.4 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 92 L ≈ €179 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.
Do I need a sailing licence in Greece?
Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.
When is the best time to sail in Greece?
April–October, hot and dry with the strong northerly Meltemi wind peaking in July–August, especially across the Cyclades.
