Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: All vessels are hull insured and have policies for damage to persons and to third parties. Insurance does not cover the Client's personal property or items brought aboard, deliberately caused damage, or damage caused by the Client's lack of diligence.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~75 HP engine burns roughly 6 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 126 L ≈ €233 at €1.85/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: A valid sailing licence is required for any charter, and a VHF radio certificate is commonly requested as well.

Pets are not allowed on board unless you get our written consent in advance, so please ask before you book.

The yacht may be sailed within the territorial waters of Montenegro. Sailing outside the approved area can make you liable for damages beyond your deposit.

Night sailing is not permitted, and you may not sail single-handed or enter regattas without our consent. Commercial use, passing the boat to third parties, and fishing or diving without a valid license are also not allowed. Only the people named on your crew list may be aboard.

Please don't leave port if winds over 30 knots are forecast or the port authorities have banned departures, and tell the base where you are in gale conditions. Bad weather is not accepted as a reason for returning late, so plan to be about 40 NM from the base two days before the end.

We may ask you or your skipper to show your navigation skills at check-in, and that time counts as part of your charter. If we find the skills insufficient, we assign a professional skipper at the Price List rate. Refusing that skipper means you can't sail and the contract ends with no refund.
