Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: Compulsory third-party liability and comprehensive (Casco) insurance up to the registered value of the vessel are included, as is crew accident insurance. Casco covers damage above the deposit but not intentional damage or gross negligence.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~40 HP engine burns roughly 3.2 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 67 L ≈ €125 at €1.87/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

Pets are not allowed unless we agree to it in advance. If we do, there is an extra cleaning charge per our current price list, so please ask before you book.

You can sail within Croatian territorial waters. If you want to go beyond them, you need our written consent first.

Sailing is for daytime and good visibility only, and we ask you to avoid clearly dangerous areas and stay in port if authorities ban departures. The boat can't be used commercially, for fishing, sailing school, racing without our consent, or towing another boat, and it can't be lent or subleased.

If we judge that the person in charge doesn't have the navigation skills needed, we can stop you from sailing out and appoint an official skipper at the price-list rate. If you decline the skipper, we can cancel the charter and keep what you've paid.

Tell us straight away using the emergency numbers in the boat documents, and we aim to repair wear-and-tear defects within 24 hours. For a serious accident, also report to the nearest harbour master and wait for our repair instructions.
