Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit. You can lower the deposit by adding the operator’s damage waiver.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: No formal licence is legally required for most charter yachts, but operators expect documented experience or an equivalent qualification (Sweden does not accept the ICC scheme).

June–August in the Stockholm archipelago and west coast; short but pleasant season with very long daylight and generally light winds.
