Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~30 HP engine burns roughly 2.4 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 50 L ≈ €75 at €1.50/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: No licence is required by Turkish law, but charter companies require proof of competence such as an ICC or RYA Day Skipper certificate.

The yachts may only sail in Turkish territorial waters and must stay within 6 miles of the shore. You must also sail only in safe weather conditions.

No commercial use is allowed, and neither is professional fishing or removing antiquities from the sea. Regattas are only possible with our prior consent, and an extra refundable deposit applies.

Only people on your crew list may operate the boat, and the skipper needs the required licences. We need the online crew list at least 7 days before departure, with full details for everyone aboard.

A delay of up to 3 hours is charged at the daily rate. Beyond 3 hours you pay triple the daily rate plus any costs the delay causes us. Only force majeure excuses a delay, and you must tell us right away.

Report any accident, collision or theft immediately to the nearest Harbor Office or Police and to us, and ask for a written copy of the report. If a malfunction leaves the boat unusable for more than 24 hours, you can claim back the daily charter hire for each further 24-hour period.
