Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: Third-party liability insurance under mandatory Portuguese law is included in the rental price. Charterer travel insurance is not included.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~38 HP engine burns roughly 3 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 63 L ≈ €122 at €1.93/L — scale it to your own plans.

A recognised sailing licence is required — EU-issued licences and the ICC are accepted; confirm acceptance with the base in advance.

Your price covers the yacht with its advertised equipment, clean linen (one set of sheets and towels per person), a full reserve gas bottle for the galley, and mooring fees in Angra do Heroísmo marina. You also get a welcome kit, two snorkeling kits and a dinghy on request.

Plan for the mandatory final cleaning, provisioning, mooring outside Angra do Heroísmo marina, marina shower and laundry use, airport transfers and water toys. An outboard motor with the first fill of gasoline is available for EUR 70 per week. Extras are paid in cash at the base before departure.

A skipper is not part of the standard charter price.

Yes, we can place an option for up to 5 days on request. After you tell us in writing that you want to book, you have 5 days to make the first payment. Your booking is confirmed once that payment has cleared in our bank account.

All payments are made in euros and must reach us in full, without card or bank charges. You pay 40% to confirm the booking and the remaining 60% four weeks before departure.
