Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The owner insures the yacht and equipment against fire, marine and collision risks and third-party damage. The charterer remains liable for the excess.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~75 HP engine burns roughly 6 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 126 L ≈ €189 at €1.50/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: No licence is required by Turkish law, but charter companies require proof of competence such as an ICC or RYA Day Skipper certificate.

Your charter area is the Turkish coast, and you may not take the yacht outside Turkish waters. Going beyond the agreed area needs our written agreement.

Your group should include at least one qualified skipper and one experienced crew member. We may ask you to show your handling and navigation skills on board with us, and if we're not satisfied we can add a seaman at your expense or end the agreement.

For safety, you shouldn't leave a port or anchorage if the wind is or is forecast to be above Beaufort 6, or if the harbour authorities ban sailing. The same applies whenever conditions or the state of the yacht or crew seem doubtful.

Contact us before arranging any repair, as we need to approve it. Damage that isn't normal wear is repaired at your cost, while wear-related repairs are reimbursed against receipts. If there's an accident, ask the nearest Port Authority to record it and tell us at the same time.
