Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The owner insures the yacht and equipment as per Greek law against fire, marine and collision risks, third party damage, and loss or damage in excess of the agreed security deposit.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~78 HP engine burns roughly 6.2 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 130 L ≈ €254 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

You must stay within the Greek seas. You also need to plan your route so that your farthest port is reached within the first third of the charter. Two days before the end, you should be within 40 nautical miles of the return port.

Your party must include at least one qualified skipper and one experienced crew member. We may ask you to show your competence by sailing the yacht with one of our people aboard. If you don't pass, we can end the agreement or put a skipper on board at your cost, if one acceptable to both sides is available.

You can't leave a port or anchorage if the wind is or is forecast to be over Beaufort 7, or if the harbour authorities ban sailing. Night sailing is allowed only with all navigation lights working and a proper watch on deck.

Up to 10 passengers in all at sea, as long as that matches the boat's official documents. Everyone aboard must be on the crew list. If your crew changes, we'll need a new crew list, which can be added under the same contract.

The boat is for your party's private pleasure only. Racing, towing other boats (except in an emergency), subletting without our written consent, and taking it outside Greek waters are not allowed. You also have to follow customs and fishing laws and leave archaeological objects alone.

April–October, hot and dry with the strong northerly Meltemi wind peaking in July–August, especially across the Cyclades.
