Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The charter price includes compulsory third-party liability insurance, voluntary insurance for damage to third-party assets, full coverage according to the declared value of the boat, and accident insurance for the guest and passengers.

Fuel isn't included, and on a powerboat it's the biggest variable cost. Estimated from engine power: at a typical planing cruise this boat's 2× 240 HP engines burn roughly 72 L/h — about €135 an hour at €1.87/L. It depends heavily on speed: easing off the throttle cuts it sharply, running flat out raises it. Plan your fuel around the hours and speed you expect to cruise.

At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

Pets are only allowed with our prior consent, so please ask us before you book and don't bring one without approval.

Yes. The boat is for private use only, so no commercial trips, professional fishing, sailing school or subchartering. Racing or regattas need our consent, and towing another boat is only allowed in an emergency.

You can sail within Croatian territorial waters. Military and other prohibited zones are off limits, and you should avoid poorly charted areas and plan your route carefully.

For safety, you shouldn't leave port or anchorage when wind is over 20 knots or expected to be, or when conditions are unstable. Bad weather doesn't excuse a late return, so plan your route and timing with a safety margin.

Tell us immediately. If the fault is normal wear and tear, we aim to fix it within 48 hours, or you can be refunded for unused days if we can't. Agree any repairs with us first, as unauthorized repairs are at your cost, apart from urgent works.
