Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The vessel carries compulsory third-party liability insurance and comprehensive insurance for the vessel's value. Comprehensive insurance covers damage above the security deposit amount, but not intentional damage or gross negligence.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~40 HP engine burns roughly 3.2 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 67 L ≈ €101 at €1.50/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: No licence is required by Turkish law, but charter companies require proof of competence such as an ICC or RYA Day Skipper certificate.

Pets are allowed only if you tell us before you arrive and we agree to it in advance. An extra charge applies according to our price list.

You can sail within Turkish territorial waters. If you want to go beyond them, you need a signed permit from us and the related documents first. You are responsible for any penalties or costs if you go outside the permitted area without one.

Sail only in safe conditions and good visibility. When peak gusts above 25 knots are announced, follow the base's instructions, which may be to stay put or find a safe anchorage. Bad weather does not excuse a late return, so contact the base manager if you can't make it back on time.

Whoever skippers must have the competence to handle the boat safely. We may ask your skipper to demonstrate their skills at sea with our representative present, and that time counts as part of your charter. If they can't show enough experience, we provide a skipper at extra cost.

Tell us right away, and don't arrange repairs or buy parts without our approval. We aim to fix wear-and-tear defects within 24 hours of your notification, and approved repair costs you pay are refunded. For accidents or damage, also report to the nearest Harbor Master and keep the paperwork.
