About this boat
A straightforward week for families or two couples, with the Saronic's islands a few hours apart so each day ends in a town and a taverna. The afternoon sea breeze is moderate and the Meltemi arrives much weaker than in the Cyclades, and the included gennaker makes lighter days worth sailing.

Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit.
Do I need a sailing licence in Greece?
Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.
When is the best time to sail in Greece?
April–October, hot and dry with the strong northerly Meltemi wind peaking in July–August, especially across the Cyclades.
