About this boat

Day Charter Includes: Captain, Fuel, Paddle surf and snorkel A high-performance sailing yacht that redefines the experience of sailing. Designed by Biscontini Yacht Design, Moana combines pure, elegant lines with exceptional onboard comfort. Whether gliding under sail through the crystal waters of Ibiza or anchored in a secluded cove at sunset, every moment aboard is crafted to be unforgettable. A week under sail: Moana is at her best on week-long charters—a new anchorage when you want it, slow mornings, long swims, and proper sailing when the breeze allows. It is the most natural way to link Ibiza and Formentera from the water. What the yacht offers: A roomy First Yacht 53 with four guest cabins plus crew quarters, generous deck living, and space for up to eleven guests. Your captain looks after navigation and safety; you set the pace—sail, motor, or linger in a quiet cove. What it brings you: Beyond specs and layout, Moana adds the hush of sailing when the engine is off, long evenings on deck, and a movable home for swimming, paddle sessions, and dinghy trips ashore—enough room to be together as a group while still finding quiet in the cabins. Routes: Fully flexible—name the places you want (Formentera, Es Vedrà, north Ibiza…) or let the captain shape a balanced itinerary around weather and sea conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit.
Do I need a sailing licence in Spain?
A recognised sailing licence is required, with an ICC typically requested for non-Spanish skippers chartering a bareboat.
About Club Naútico Ibiza
Club Náutico Ibiza — also known as Puerto Deportivo Ibiza — sits right on Talamanca Beach, putting you steps from one of the island's most beloved stretches of sand. Read more →
When is the best time to sail in Spain?
April–October across the Balearics and Costa Brava; reliable warm summers, busiest in July–August with the occasional afternoon thermal breeze.
