Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. Fuel isn't included, and on a powerboat it's the biggest variable cost. At a typical planing cruise this boat's 250 HP engine burn roughly 38 L/h — about €71 an hour at €1.87/L. It depends heavily on speed: easing off the throttle cuts it sharply, running flat out raises it. Plan your fuel around the hours and speed you expect to cruise.

At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

Once you take the boat, you are required to sail solely within Croatian territorial waters and to keep a boat log throughout your trip.

We ask that you sail only in favourable weather with good visibility, following good navigational practice and treating the boat and its equipment with care.

Please contact us immediately, make a note of what happened, and obtain written certification from the nearest Harbour Office, doctor or other authorised person. Reporting promptly protects you, as you could be held liable for any damage that goes unreported or is reported late.

Yes, please check the engine oil level regularly. Oil is provided by us, but you would be responsible for any engine damage caused by running low on oil.

If the boat or equipment is damaged by natural causes, contact us right away and we will work to rectify the issue within 24 hours.
