About this boat

Our Beneteau OCEANIS 40.1 is essentially a brand-new 42-foot model, boasting a wide beam that provides exceptional comfort and spaciousness for its dimensions. It features four cabins with eight beds, along with a generous dinette that converts into a double bed accommodating two additional guests, allowing up to ten people to enjoy an unforgettable vacation. The vessel's cruising nature is highlighted by the highly comfortable roller shutter, designed to simplify navigation for everyone on board. If you value comfort more than speed, this yacht is the perfect choice for you! LIVING SPACES The dinette features a conventional arrangement, accommodating up to eight individuals at the dining table. The spacious kitchen is equipped with all the essentials to prepare meals for up to ten guests: two burners, a large sink, a smaller sink, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, an oven, and a highly practical AC/DC inverter that enables the use of 220V electricity even when away from the port. Each of the four cabins offers ample space; the front left cabin features two single bunk beds, whereas the remaining three cabins each contain a double bed. There are two cozy bathrooms, both equipped with electric toilets and showers. Fans are installed in all cabins and the lounge, enhancing the comfort of this contemporary vessel, making it perfect for enjoying a great time affordably. OUTDOOR SPACES The cockpit is exceptionally spacious, owing to the widest beam positioned towards the stern, and it seamlessly integrates with the folding transom, transforming the entry to the sea into a true balcony that offers stunning views over the water.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit. You can lower the deposit by adding the operator’s damage waiver.
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. This boat's ~45 HP engine burn roughly 3.6 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 76 L ≈ €148 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.
Do I need a sailing licence in Italy?
The skipper needs a valid sailing licence and VHF certificate, ideally issued by their country of residence (an ICC is widely accepted).
