Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: Guests must hold adequate personal travel insurance before boarding, covering personal possessions and injury.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~75 HP engine burns roughly 6 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 126 L ≈ €236 at €1.87/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

Everyone travelling must be 18 or over. Under-18s can only join if you charter the whole boat for the week, or if we give our express consent before you book.

If winds are, or are forecast to be, above 25 knots, the boat stays in shelter and the itinerary changes. Safety always comes first. If you need a water taxi or ferry to reach a planned port, that cost is yours.

Our boats are serviced annually and throughout the season. If an emergency repair is needed, you may spend an extra day in one place. The skipper will talk through options with the group, but there is no monetary compensation for itinerary changes.

A hostess is included at no extra charge, and a 24/7 professional hostess can be arranged for an extra fee. We provide breakfast and lunch on full days, with Mediterranean, vegetarian or vegan options. Please tell us your preference in advance, as we order provisions a week ahead.

May–October, with the most reliable maestral winds and warm seas in June–September; July–August are the hottest and busiest.
