The Oceanis 51.1 is spacious, elegant, cleverly designed, and fast, and successfully revisits the cruising yacht, offers fast, efficient and comfortable cruising under sail. Her impressive internal volume allows you to have a comfortable onboard living and accommodation for 12 guests in 6 cabins. While the interior is bathed in a wonderful amount of light from the large hull portholes, the 3 big air-condition units and the generator of this yacht make the onboard living ideal for her guests.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. You can lower the deposit by adding the operator’s damage waiver. Operator terms: Every yacht is insured against damage exceeding the security deposit amount.
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~110 HP engine burns roughly 8.8 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 185 L ≈ €361 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.
Do I need a sailing licence in Greece?
Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.
Can I charter with a skipper?
Yes, a skipper is optional. If you choose one, they join us for the yacht check-in and go through the equipment list in detail with us.
What's not included in the charter price?
The price covers the boat and her equipment, taxes and VAT, and port fees for your embarkation and disembarkation days at Alimos (Kalamaki Marina). Mooring fees beyond the first and last night in port and food provisioning are extra.
What happens if bad weather delays my return?
We don't accept weather as a reason for late redelivery. Please keep the yacht at an adequate distance from the base during your last 24 hours so you can get back comfortably.
What needs to happen when I bring the boat back?
The yacht comes back to the base a day before your charter contract ends for the check-out procedure, which includes refueling, a diver inspection and the final check-out. Your security deposit is returned after the inspection.
Can I do a charter that isn't a full week?
Weekly charters usually run Saturday to Saturday, but for uneven lengths such as ten or twelve days we'll do our best to accommodate you, depending on the circumstances.
