Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit.

Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

On a fully crewed yacht the charter fee covers the crews wages, their food, cleaning materials and basic consumable stores, so the crew look after running the boat and keeping it clean. End cleaning is not charged on fully crewed yachts.

Yes. After booking we send you a questionnaire about your travel plans, guest list, likes and dislikes and special requests, and pass it to the captain so he can pre-book berths, order the right provisions and arrange the chef for any celebrations.

Yes, you can hire a skipper or a cook as an optional extra. Please note that the skipper or cook will need their own cabin on board, and provisioning for them is added on top.

Yes. We can pre-order your provisions at no extra service fee using our provisioning list, and transfers to and from the airport can be arranged on request.
