Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit. Fuel isn't included, and on a powerboat it's the biggest variable cost. At a typical planing cruise this boat's 480 HP engine burn roughly 72 L/h — about €135 an hour at €1.87/L. It depends heavily on speed: easing off the throttle cuts it sharply, running flat out raises it. Plan your fuel around the hours and speed you expect to cruise.

At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

Yes, all quoted prices include the captain and crew. You and your party agree to follow the captain's safety instructions at all times.

No pets are permitted on board unless we have specifically agreed otherwise, so please check with us in advance.

The skipper makes the call. If there is heavy rain or the sea is dangerous to navigate, the charter will be paused or cancelled, but a few clouds in an otherwise calm sea are not a reason to cancel.

Yes, but any watersports activity is entirely at your own risk, and we cannot be held liable for any accidents or injuries arising from it.

Please behave responsibly, follow the crew's instructions, and avoid excessive alcohol or illegal drugs. We reserve the right to end a charter where behaviour endangers or distresses others, with no liability for extra costs you then incur.
