Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: Watersports and water toys are used entirely at the guest's own risk, and the company cannot be held liable for accidents or injuries.

Fuel isn't included, and on a powerboat it's the biggest variable cost. Estimated from engine power: at a typical planing cruise this boat's 480 HP engine burns roughly 72 L/h — about €135 an hour at €1.87/L. It depends heavily on speed: easing off the throttle cuts it sharply, running flat out raises it. Plan your fuel around the hours and speed you expect to cruise.

Not personally — a skipper is included with this boat and holds the licence. Generally, though: At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

No pets are allowed on board unless we have agreed otherwise in advance. If you'd like to travel with an animal, please ask us before booking.

The captain decides whether it's safe to go out. If the sea is dangerous, the trip is cancelled and we'll offer you another date, or a refund if we can't agree on one. Calm seas with a few clouds aren't a reason to cancel.

Yes, our prices include the captain and crew. The captain is in charge of safety and navigation, and we ask everyone on board to follow their instructions at all times.

We ask guests to behave responsibly, avoid excessive alcohol and keep illegal drugs off the boat. If the captain or our staff see behaviour that endangers people or property, the charter can be ended without a refund of extra costs. Any breach of Croatian law also ends the agreement.
