About this boat

Our charter yachts are equipped and maintained to meet or exceed RYA/MCA safety equipment standards, with a strong focus on reliability, seaworthiness, and ease of use for both skippers and crews. Each vessel carries comprehensive safety and navigation equipment, including modern chartplotters, AIS, updated paper and electronic charts, full sets of lifejackets and harnesses, flares, fire-fighting equipment and emergency communications. Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit. Operator terms: Repair costs will be deducted from security deposit
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. This boat's ~30 HP engine burn roughly 2.4 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 50 L ≈ €98 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.
Do I need a sailing licence in Greece?
Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.
Does my second crew member need sailing experience?
Your co-skipper should ideally hold a sailing certificate, or at least have some sailing experience. If they have no certificate, they sign a short written statement on the spot declaring they have open-sea experience to assist the skipper; no further proof is needed.
Is end cleaning included or do I pay for it?
End cleaning is obligatory and paid in cash when you embark. It covers the yacht's cleaning, a spare bottle of cooking gas, and blankets, pillows, pillow cases, bed linen and one set of towels per person per week.
What happens if I leave a personal item on board?
If our team finds something you have left behind, we will let you know as soon as possible and arrange how to return it. We cannot, however, be held responsible for items left behind or lost.
About Sivota Marina Lefkada
Tucked into a sheltered bay on the Greek mainland coast, Sivota Marina welcomes private yachts and boats year-round with full amenities and pontoon berths. The village itself grew up around the waterfront, so you're steps away from waterside tavernas the moment you tie up. Read more →
When is the best time to sail in Greece?
April–October, hot and dry with the strong northerly Meltemi wind peaking in July–August, especially across the Cyclades.
