About this boat

Summer heat goes easier when the boat keeps you cool, and the maestral fills in around midday to help. Hops between harbours are short, with a town quay most nights and plenty of tavernas, which suits families and first-timers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit. You can lower the deposit by adding the operator’s damage waiver.
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~22 HP engine burns roughly 1.8 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 38 L ≈ €71 at €1.87/L — scale it to your own plans.
Do I need a sailing licence in Croatia?
Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

When is the best time to sail in Croatia?
May–October, with the most reliable maestral winds and warm seas in June–September; July–August are the hottest and busiest.
