Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The charter company holds hull insurance, but this does not release the charterer from liability for damage the insurance does not cover or for which the insurer reserves recourse (e.g. gross negligence, intent, breach of contract terms, consequential damages).

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~75 HP engine burns roughly 6 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 126 L ≈ €246 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

For your safety, you must not leave a sheltered harbour when wind of 7 Bft or higher is forecast. Please also check conditions such as currents and water levels in strong winds before you set off.

You can sail within the operator's agreed sea area. To go beyond it, you need our prior written consent.

The charterer must have enough experience to manage a yacht, or bring a responsible skipper who does. If that isn't the case, we can refuse handover or arrange a skipper at your expense.

Call the operator immediately and have any repairs approved first. Keep the replaced parts, and in the event of damage or an accident, make a record confirmed by the harbour master or similar. Repair costs from normal wear and tear are reimbursed against a receipted invoice.

Yes. The yacht can't be used commercially, sublet, or carry other people's passengers or dangerous goods without our written consent. You also can't make alterations to the boat or its equipment.
