Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The yachts are insured under Greek law against third-party liability and damage to hull, machinery and equipment. The insurance covers fire, marine and collision risks, third-party damage and loss or damage in excess of 2,500 EUR.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~55 HP engine burns roughly 4.4 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 92 L ≈ €179 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

Yes, pets are welcome aboard. We charge double the standard end cleaning fee when a pet comes along.

The yacht is for the private pleasure of you and your party. You can't use it for racing or regattas, sailing training courses, cabin rental or subletting. Towing another vessel is only allowed in an emergency.

The yacht is a recreational vessel, so we can't guarantee any planned itinerary in bad weather. For safety, you shouldn't leave a port or anchorage if winds are over or forecast to exceed Beaufort 6, or if the harbour authorities ban sailing.

You can sail within Greek seas only. Plan your route to reach your farthest port within the first third of the charter, and be within 40 nautical miles of the return base two days before the end.

Your party must include at least one qualified skipper and one experienced crew member at all times. We may ask you to demonstrate your handling of the yacht at sea. If it isn't satisfactory, we may end the agreement or require a seaman aboard at your expense.
