Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: All boats are insured against third-party liability and damage to hull, machinery and equipment, third-party and passenger liability for any one accident, and sea pollution liability. A deductible applies, depending on the yacht's value.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~650 HP engine burns roughly 52 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 1092 L ≈ €2129 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not personally — this boat requires a skipper, who holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

You need two experienced crew members. The skipper needs a sailing certificate or sailing club membership, and the co-skipper needs sailing experience. If your country doesn't issue certificates, a yacht club reference or a sailing resume works. If we judge your skills insufficient, we may ask you to hire a professional skipper.

Yes. A skipper is EUR 190 per day, a hostess EUR 170 per day (deck work, breakfast and a light lunch) and a cook EUR 170 per day (deck work, breakfast, lunch and dinner). Food provision for them is extra, and extras are paid in cash when you embark.

No. End cleaning is a separate fee paid in cash when you embark. It runs from EUR 100 for a 2-cabin sailing yacht to EUR 280 to EUR 450 for catamarans, depending on size.

Yes, one-way trips are possible for an extra fee. For example, Athens to Lavrion is EUR 150, Athens or Lavrion to the Cyclades is EUR 500, and moving between island groups such as the Sporades, Ionian, Dodecanese and Cyclades is EUR 450.

The price covers the yacht and its equipment, base mooring fees, marine insurance, bed linen and towels, blankets, cooking gas, taxes and VAT. Fuel, fresh water (where not included), port fees away from the base, food and drinks, canal dues and transfers cost extra.
