Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit. Operator terms: Yacht has kasko and obligatory insurance for all passengers. Customer covers repair costs up to security deposit amount; insurance covers excess.

Fuel isn't included, and on a powerboat it's the biggest variable cost. At a typical planing cruise this boat's 440 HP engine burn roughly 66 L/h — about €123 an hour at €1.87/L. It depends heavily on speed: easing off the throttle cuts it sharply, running flat out raises it. Plan your fuel around the hours and speed you expect to cruise.

At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

You must hold an adequate skipper competency certificate and confirm you have the skills and knowledge to safely handle the vessel. If we determine your experience is insufficient, we may require you to hire a professional skipper at an additional cost, or you won't be permitted to sail without one.

You must stay within Croatian waters and obey all local customs and regulations. You can sail at night only in safe weather conditions, and we recommend good forward planning of your route.

Delays of up to 3 hours are charged at the daily charter rate; delays over 3 hours cost triple the daily rate. If bad weather causes a delay, you cover all expenses, so we suggest planning your return carefully.

Report any serious damage or accidents involving other vessels to the closest harbour master and notify us immediately. Any documented accident must be written down and signed by all parties involved. Engine damage from failure to check oil and water daily is your full responsibility.

Return the yacht clean and in the same proper condition you received it, including the underwater part. The yacht is handed over with full fuel and water tanks, which must be returned full.

May–October, with the most reliable maestral winds and warm seas in June–September; July–August are the hottest and busiest.
