About this boat

As the name suggests, you will find that when sailing this beautiful Astrea 42, you will find your Serenity Now. Outfitted for chartering, this 3 cabin, 3 head boat offers abundant natural light, a large master cabin that takes up the entire starboard side, and a fully equipped galley. This master cabin has a large walk-in shower and a separate head. The port side consists of 2 cabins that have their own heads. The galley has a comfortable seating area and a large cockpit area for dining. The galley has a plug-in ice maker, a convection microwave, a large fridge, and freezer drawers. The U-shaped galley transitions seamlessly with the cockpit, courtesy of a vast sliding pocket door. The cockpit has a small fridge for easy outdoor access to cold beverages. The covered flybridge offers shade for the guests while sailing and provides beautiful ocean views, and the coachroof features a double seat at the helm station and a built-in sun lounger. The Highfield 11 ft. dinghy with a 25 HP engine is on a large hydraulic swim platform. Like all of our luxury yachts, she has various amenities, including air conditioning and a generator. Watermaker, ice maker, WiFi, and Dinghy are available in the BVI (Caribbean bases). https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=z13USYRe5vu

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit.
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. This boat's ~100 HP engines burn roughly 8 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 168 L ≈ €239 at €1.42/L — scale it to your own plans. Many skippers run one engine on passage to roughly halve fuel use — ask your operator if that’s fine for your boat.
Do I need a sailing licence in British Virgin Islands?
No formal sailing licence is required, but you must submit a sailing résumé proving recent experience on a similar-sized yacht for company approval.
