Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~725 HP engine burns roughly 58 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 1218 L ≈ €1389 at €1.14/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not personally — a skipper is included with this boat and holds the licence. Generally, though: No sailing licence is required by Thai law, but charter companies require a sailing résumé showing experience on an equivalent boat.

For a bareboat charter, the person at the helm needs at least two years of experience driving a boat. Please make sure whoever will be operating the boat meets this before you book.
