Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. You can lower the deposit by adding the operator’s damage waiver. Operator terms: Each yacht has its own obligatory insurance (per Greek law) covering fire, marine, collision and third-party risks, with the excess stated as EUR 0. The owner is not liable for loss of or damage to the personal property of, or injury to, the charterer or anyone aboard.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~18 HP engine burns roughly 1.4 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 29 L ≈ €57 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

You must stay within Greek waters unless we give written consent. You also need to plan your route so you reach your farthest port within the first third of the charter and are within 40 nautical miles of the return port two days before the end.

Your party must include at least one qualified skipper and one experienced crew member. We may ask you to show your competence by sailing the yacht with one of our staff aboard. If you don't pass, we can place a professional skipper aboard at your expense or end the agreement.

The yacht is licensed for 6 to 10 people depending on the boat, and only people on your crew list may sleep or sail aboard. Please send us the full crew list 4 weeks before departure.

Please bring the yacht back clean, in the same condition you received it, with all equipment and inventory. An end-cleaning fee of EUR 80 to 240 (EUR 40 per cabin) is paid directly to the cleaning company when you embark. Check the engine oil and water every day, because damage from low oil or water isn't insured.

Late returns are charged at penalty rates, for example a full day's charter rate for up to 3 hours' delay and triple that beyond 3 hours. Delays caused by bad weather are your responsibility, so please plan your route with a buffer and tell the base manager right away if you will be late.
