Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The Owner insures the yacht and equipment against fire, marine and collision risks and third-party damage, and against loss or damage in excess of a stated amount (left blank).

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~27 HP engine burns roughly 2.2 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 46 L ≈ €90 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

The boat is for private pleasure only, so no racing, no towing other craft except in an emergency, and no subletting without the operator's written consent. Only people on your crew/passenger manifest may be aboard.

You must stay within the Greek seas. We also ask you to reach your farthest port within the first third of the charter, and to be within 40 nautical miles of the return point two days before the end.

You must not leave a port or anchorage if the wind is, or is forecast to be, above Beaufort 6, or if harbour authorities ban sailing. If conditions or the boat's state make safety doubtful, stay put.

Your party must include at least one qualified skipper and one experienced crew member. We may ask you to show your competence on a short sail with us aboard. If you don't pass, we may end the charter or place a seaman aboard at your cost, and that time counts as charter time.

Late return is charged at the daily charter price plus 50% for each day or part of a day until the boat is back. If you leave it somewhere other than the agreed place, you also pay the transfer costs.
