About this boat

Short island hops around the Saronic mean easy afternoon sailing and dinner ashore most nights, ideal for a big family or group who'd rather swap tavernas than log miles. Everyone gets their own cabin, with space to actually spread out between sails.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. You can lower the deposit by adding the operator’s damage waiver. Operator terms: All boats are fully insured: third party and passenger civil liability minimum EUR 300,000 per accident; damage liability to third parties and passengers' yacht EUR 150,000 per accident; sea pollution liability EUR 88,000.
Do I need a sailing licence in Greece?
Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.
What sailing experience does my crew need?
At least two people on board, a skipper and an assistant, need some form of sailing certificate or a signed declaration of experience. We may also ask for a sailing resume to check you can sail safely.
What if my sailing skills aren't considered sufficient?
We reserve the right to refuse a charter or to require that you hire a professional skipper if we don't feel your skills are enough. This is to keep you and the boat safe.
Can I charter with a skipper instead of sailing myself?
Yes, we offer both bareboat and skippered charter packages, so you can choose whichever suits your experience.
Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, we accept Visa and MasterCard with an additional 2% handling fee. The booking itself is confirmed with a bank transfer for 50% of the charter fee, and the balance is due 30 days before departure.
Can I book a charter that isn't a full week?
Weekly charters are the norm, but for periods such as ten or twelve days we'll do our best to accommodate you, depending on circumstances.
