Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: Compulsory and all-risk vessel insurance, third-party liability and crew accident insurance are included in the price. The all-risk policy has a deductible equal to the deposit.

Fuel isn't included, and on a powerboat it's the biggest variable cost. Estimated from engine power: at a typical planing cruise this boat's 200 HP engine burns roughly 30 L/h — about €56 an hour at €1.87/L. It depends heavily on speed: easing off the throttle cuts it sharply, running flat out raises it. Plan your fuel around the hours and speed you expect to cruise.

At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

No, pets of any kind are not allowed on board unless we have granted special permission in advance. If you would like to bring one, ask us before booking.

No. Sailing after sunset or in unfavourable conditions is permanently prohibited, so plan to be moored or anchored in good time each evening. Breaking this rule is treated as a gross violation and can leave you personally liable for any resulting damage.

You may sail only in Croatian territorial waters, within 3 or 6 nautical miles of the coast or an island depending on the boat's registration. In the 24 hours before your return you must stay within 15 NM of the home port. We can also restrict the area further, for example because of weather.

Your skipper must hold a valid navigation licence and have real experience handling this type of boat. At pick-up we may ask for a skills check or short test ride. If your skipper doesn't pass, you can nominate another skipper or take one of ours at the price-list surcharge.

Tell us immediately in writing and give your position, and call the sea rescue service if anyone is in danger. We aim to resolve harmless issues within 24 hours or give you written instructions. If rescue, towing or re-floating services are needed, you must agree and pay for them beforehand.

May–October, with the most reliable maestral winds and warm seas in June–September; July–August are the hottest and busiest.
