Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. Fuel isn't included, and on a powerboat it's the biggest variable cost. At a typical planing cruise this boat's 2× 200 HP engines burn roughly 60 L/h — about €112 an hour at €1.87/L. It depends heavily on speed: easing off the throttle cuts it sharply, running flat out raises it. Plan your fuel around the hours and speed you expect to cruise.

At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

You're asked to sail within Croatian territorial waters, with a written permit needed for any exception. Please also avoid restricted areas and keep the log book up to date on board.

Pets such as dogs, cats and birds are not allowed aboard the vessel, so please make arrangements for them ashore before your trip.

You may not take part in any regatta or race, sublet or lend the vessel, use it for commercial purposes or professional fishing, or tow another boat. We ask that you sail only in safe weather and good visibility.

Please don't leave port or anchorage if the wind is, or is expected to be, over Beaufort force 7 (about 30 knots), if the authorities have prohibited sailing, or if the boat has any unrepaired damage to vital parts. Always set off with sufficient fuel reserves.

The vessel is handed over clean and dry with full water and fuel tanks and the engine in good order, and we ask that you return her in the same condition with the same equipment.

May–October, with the most reliable maestral winds and warm seas in June–September; July–August are the hottest and busiest.
