Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. You can lower the deposit by adding the operator’s damage waiver. Operator terms: Travel cancellation insurance is not required but is strongly recommended, to cover cancellation costs, flight cancellation and other disruptions.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~24 HP engine burns roughly 1.9 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 40 L ≈ €78 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

Once we confirm an option, it stays valid for 4-5 days. Within that time your down payment needs to clear in our account, or the boat may go to the next person in line. If you need more time, just ask us for an extension.

You pay 50% of the charter fee when you reserve, and the 50% balance is due 30-42 days before embarkation, as stated on your invoice. If you book less than 35 days ahead, the full amount is due at once. You can pay by bank transfer in euro, or by credit card with a 1% surcharge.

Yes. If you book more than 8 months ahead, you can ask for an alternative plan. For example, 30% on reservation, 30% three months before and 40% one month before, or 30% on reservation and 70% two months before.

Extras such as the standard charter pack, crew arrangements, early check-in, optional equipment and other services are paid at the base when you embark. They are paid directly to us in cash.
