Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The shipowner insures the yacht and its equipment in line with Greek legislation against fire, marine and collision risks and third-party liability.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~54 HP engine burns roughly 4.3 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 90 L ≈ €176 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.

Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

The boat is for private pleasure use by you and your party only. You can't carry paying passengers, race (unless we agree in writing), tow other boats except in an emergency, or sublet it. Only people on your crew list may be aboard, and you must follow local customs, fishing and diving rules and not take archaeological objects.

For safety you must not leave port or anchorage if winds are, or are forecast to be, above Beaufort 6, or if the Port Authorities ban sailing. Bad weather doesn't excuse a late return, so plan your route to be close to the return port in the last days.

Your cruising area is Greece unless we agree otherwise in writing. Motor yachts must stay within the Saronic & Argolic Gulf and the Ionian Sea. Plan to reach your farthest port within the first third of the charter.

Your party must include at least one qualified skipper and one experienced sailor. We may ask you to show your competence with a short sail with us aboard, and that time counts as part of your charter. If it isn't convincing, we can assign a skipper at your cost, or end the agreement if that isn't possible or you decline.

Tell us in writing straight away, and report any accident or damage to us and the nearest Port Authority. If a breakdown that isn't your fault isn't fixed within 8 working hours of our receiving your notice, you can claim a pro-rata refund or, if we agree, an extension.
