Please note that this high-quality boat is a special model that was only produced by Jeanneau for a short period because it was too expensive to build. This is because it has following unique design features : Engine located in middle of boat (not aft as usual) allowing propeller positioning near centre of gravity This positioning largely frees boat from usual "prop-walk" - the tendency of boat to move to port or starboard when going aft The rudder is exceptionally deep (nearly as deep as the keel) and hung as far aft as possible This rudder size/far aft positioning coupled with near-central prop location makes for excellent boat control forward and aft. In conclusion, the design is such as to provide top boat steering control. These design features require special high-cost construction engineering, and are very rarely found in other boats. The other high-cost design features are: Quality blond teak joinery with curved surfaces inside giving a great feeling of luxury (no plastic) and heavy hull build with deep underwater surfaces providing excellent heavy weather handling. Please note that this is not at the expense of light airs sailing performance due to the powerful sailing rig. Also the double frigoboat fridges (much more expensive than normal electric fridge) run off the engine (not off the batteries) and provide constant 24-hour refrigeration without risking flat batteries as they are engine-compressor driven.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit.
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. This boat's ~75 HP engine burn roughly 6 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 126 L ≈ €246 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.
Do I need a sailing licence in Greece?
Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.
