Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The owner insures the yacht and her equipment as required by Greek law, against fire, marine and collision risks, third-party damage and other loss or damage.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~80 HP engines burn roughly 6.4 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 134 L ≈ €261 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

Yes. Your party must include at least one qualified skipper and one experienced crew member. We may ask you to show your handling and navigation skills on the water before you set off. If you don't pass, we may place a skipper aboard at your cost, or in serious cases end the charter.

You can sail within the Greek seas only. You should plan your route to reach the farthest port within the first third of your trip. In the last days, stay within 40 nautical miles of the return base.

Only the people on your crew/passenger manifest may be aboard, and the total can't exceed the maximum in your charter conditions. Please make sure everyone is listed before departure.

The boat is for your private pleasure cruising. Racing is allowed only if agreed in advance with extra racing insurance, and towing other boats is allowed only in an emergency. Subletting, fishing in breach of local law and taking archaeological objects are not allowed. Night sailing is allowed only if all navigation lights work.

Please don't leave port if sailing is banned or conditions look unsafe. If weather makes you late, a late-return charge still applies: the daily charter rate plus 50% for each day or part of a day. Plan some margin on your last days.
