About this boat

The Lagoon 42 ‘Ocean Pearl’ is a 3-cabin (+ one Crew cabin) version for up to 8 people. A comfortable owner's cabin is located on the starboard side. In addition to a spacious sleeping area, there is a wet room with separate shower area and a workplace with desk. 2 further cabins, each with a double bed and en-suite bathroom/shower, are located on the opposite side. There is a further sleeping area in the skipper's cabin. The Ocean Pearl has a solar system, generator, inverter heating and air conditioning in the saloon for hot days. It goes without saying that the boat is equipped with a battened mainsail, genoa and bimini top, autopilot, sprayhood, heating and GPS chart plotter in the cockpit. Teak in the cockpit makes a stay on board cosy. 2 fridges and freezer compartment as well as Nespresso coffee machine and 3 electric toilets are also on board. Our yachts are equipped with C.I.G.O. Charter Information Guide Online. Unlimited internet, dinghy and outboard motor are included in the charter price.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit.
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. This boat's ~114 HP engines burn roughly 9.1 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 191 L ≈ €357 at €1.87/L — scale it to your own plans. Many skippers run one engine on passage to roughly halve fuel use — ask your operator if that’s fine for your boat.
Do I need a sailing licence in Croatia?
At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.
When is the best time to sail in Croatia?
May–October, with the most reliable maestral winds and warm seas in June–September; July–August are the hottest and busiest.
