Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~90 HP engines burn roughly 7.2 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 151 L ≈ €282 at €1.87/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

Skipper service is paid only at the base, in cash. The skipper works separately on commission, so please have the cash ready when you arrive.

Before handing over a yacht bareboat, we check your skipper license and make sure you have an adequate amount of sailing experience. If you'd rather not charter bareboat, you can add a skipper instead.
