Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit. Operator terms: Not explicitly required from guest, but yacht carries: hull insurance at original value with deductible EUR 1,500 for monohulls and EUR 3,000 for catamarans; third party liability insurance covering property damage and bodily injury up to EUR 5,000,000

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. This boat's ~194 HP engines burn roughly 15.5 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 326 L ≈ €489 at €1.50/L — scale it to your own plans. Many skippers run one engine on passage to roughly halve fuel use — ask your operator if that’s fine for your boat.

No licence is required by Turkish law, but charter companies require proof of competence such as an ICC or RYA Day Skipper certificate.

Your charter area covers Turkish waters between Bodrum and Marmaris. If you want to leave Turkish territory, you'll need our approval before the charter begins and must clear in and out according to the relevant regulations.

Yes. As skipper you'll need to confirm you're qualified to operate the yacht in this area and provide evidence of the nautical miles you've completed on the crew list.

You may not exceed the permitted number of people on board, use the yacht commercially, tow other vessels except in an emergency, or sublet it. Racing requires our prior approval before the charter begins.

Let us know right away. For minor wear-and-tear repairs under EUR 100 you can arrange the work yourself once you have our approval, and we'll reimburse you against the invoice. For serious damage such as running aground or a broken mast, stop further damage, notify us, and wait for our instructions.

Please return the yacht to the agreed port in good, clean order with its full inventory. We'll carry out an inspection and inventory check together at handover.
