Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The operator confirms the yacht is fully insured. Regardless of insurance, the client must pay for all damages or losses they are personally responsible for.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~220 HP engines burn roughly 17.6 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 370 L ≈ €692 at €1.87/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not personally — a skipper is included with this boat and holds the licence. Generally, though: At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

Yes, the yacht is chartered with a crew: a skipper, plus a hostess and chef where applicable. We ask you to treat them with respect and to provide food and drink for them throughout the charter.

The Advance Provisioning Allowance covers running costs such as crew fee, food, drinks, port and mooring charges and any extras you request. The crew keeps a record of spending, and at the end you either get the surplus back or pay any shortfall.
