Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The yacht is insured under Greek legislation. The charterer is liable for damage, loss or liability caused by their own or their guests' negligence or actions that the owner's insurance does not cover.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~150 HP engines burn roughly 12 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 252 L ≈ €491 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not personally — a skipper is included with this boat and holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

Yes. The boat is for recreational cruising only, so racing, sailing lessons and carrying paying passengers are not allowed. Water skiing, towing, and bringing surfboards, kite gear or canoes aboard need our prior approval. You also can't sub-charter the boat.

You must not sail in seas above force 5 Beaufort or when dangerous conditions are forecast, and you must follow Port Authority orders. If bad weather makes you late back, the late-return penalty still applies, so plan your final days with some margin.

At least one crew member must hold a co-skipper certificate or sign a self-declaration of sailing experience. We may also run a practical skills test or sea trial before you leave. If we judge your skills insufficient, we can stop you leaving the marina or require a professional skipper, with no refund.

Tell us immediately and don't carry out repairs yourself. Repair help can only be requested between 08:00 and 20:00. If a critical item such as the engine or rigging fails through no fault of yours and is out of use for over 12 hours, we compensate the lost time, but not other equipment like the fridge or echo-sounder.
