Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The boat is insured for Third Party Liability and Marine Hull (third party damage, fire, lightning, explosion, theft or robbery, natural disasters, marine and collision risks). The premium is included in the charter price.

Fuel isn't included, and on a powerboat it's the biggest variable cost. Estimated from engine power: at a typical planing cruise this boat's 300 HP engine burns roughly 45 L/h — about €84 an hour at €1.87/L. It depends heavily on speed: easing off the throttle cuts it sharply, running flat out raises it. Plan your fuel around the hours and speed you expect to cruise.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

Unfortunately not. Pets are not allowed on the boat. Smoking is also not permitted below deck.

Yes. The boat can't be used for commercial activity such as carrying paying passengers or commercial fishing, and it can't be rechartered. Racing needs our prior agreement. Towing other boats or being towed is only allowed in an emergency, and ideally after contacting us.

We may restrict the boat's range depending on its category, the conditions, or our assessment of your crew's ability. That can include banning certain anchorages or areas, or night navigation. Ignoring these restrictions is your responsibility.

Contact us straight away. For wear-related faults we'll try to fix it within 24 hours or guide you through a repair or replacement. If you can't reach us, you can arrange a repair up to 100 EUR and we'll refund it against the bill, unless the damage came from incorrect handling. Keep any replaced parts.

You should only leave a protected harbour when weather and good seamanship allow it, and move away from unsafe anchorages or moorings if conditions require. Leave plenty of time to get back to base, because late returns are charged at double the daily charter fee.

May–October, with the most reliable maestral winds and warm seas in June–September; July–August are the hottest and busiest.
