Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. You can lower the deposit by adding the operator’s damage waiver. Operator terms: Yacht insurance is included in the charter rates. For skippered charters, a non-refundable insurance fee of 350 EUR is required (security deposit is 0 in this case).

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~110 HP engine burns roughly 8.8 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 185 L ≈ €361 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

Yes, we can arrange a freelance skipper or hostess for an extra daily fee. You'll need to provide their food (or agree a cash allowance of at least €25 per crew member per day) and give them a berth and access to the shower and toilet on board.

Let the local base manager know as soon as possible and they'll work to put things right. We aim to resolve technical issues within 8 working hours, though that may not be possible in remote locations, so please respond to calls and follow the base manager's instructions.

Please return the yacht in the same condition you received it, with fuel and water tanks full. A cleaning fee is payable in cash at base on the day you embark, so you don't need to do a full deep clean yourself.

The price covers the yacht and its equipment, insurance, VAT, clean linens (one set per person per week, for up to 2 weeks), a spare gas bottle and berthing for your first and last night. Extras such as Wi-Fi, a paddleboard, a safety net, life jackets or an outboard engine are paid in cash at base on embarkation day.

Yes. Longer charters of 2 to 4 weeks, repeat clients, multiple bookings and boat-show bookings can all qualify for discounts. Combined discounts are capped at 20%.
