Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The vessel carries compulsory third-party liability insurance and comprehensive insurance for the vessel's value. Accident insurance for the crew is included in the charter fee.

Fuel isn't included, and on a powerboat it's the biggest variable cost. Estimated from engine power: at a typical planing cruise this boat's 200 HP engine burns roughly 30 L/h — about €56 an hour at €1.87/L. It depends heavily on speed: easing off the throttle cuts it sharply, running flat out raises it. Plan your fuel around the hours and speed you expect to cruise.

At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

Yes, but only if you agree it with us in advance. Pets are charged as an extra according to our price list.

You can sail within Croatian territorial waters. If you want to go beyond them, you need a signed permit from us and the related documents before you leave.

Sail only in safe weather and good visibility. If gusts above 25 knots are announced, follow the base's instructions, which may allow sailing or tell you to find a safe anchorage. Bad weather does not excuse a late return, so call the base manager early.

We may ask you or your skipper to show your skills at sea with one of our representatives on board, and that time counts as part of your charter. If it isn't enough, we can provide an official skipper for an extra charge.

Tell us and the base straight away and don't start repairs without our approval. For normal wear and tear we'll fix it within 24 hours of your notice. If a third party must do the repair, we approve the work and cost first and refund approved costs for age-related failures.

May–October, with the most reliable maestral winds and warm seas in June–September; July–August are the hottest and busiest.
